We drove sooo far for this photo shoot, and the high tide almost swept Lucy's car out into the ocean, but thank God for the nice families out there with cool ATV's and RV's who came to the rescue!!! It was an incredibly long day, but the place was awesome, the sunset was beautiful, and our models were absolutely gorgeous!

Sarah was such a trooper! It was freezing, even though I had on jeans and a jacket. Sarah was in her strapless dress and freezing her bootie off, yet she was still out there, smiling and looking amazing for the cameras ;) Thank you, Sarah, for your patience and your enthusiasm! I had so much fun working with you.


















Marcella, you're such a natural! Your face is so multi-personalitied, and I especially love your fierce, "Come and get it" look! I can't believe you were so photogenic after pulling an all-nighter and even after an all day's worth of us driving around and getting lost! Thank you so much for being so cooperative and so enthusiastic!












Lucy and Cherry, great job on the hair and makeup, even though plans didn't go accordingly :)

...and although everyone was panicking in trying to get out of there before Lucy's car got pulled out to sea (it got stuck in the sand so many times!), I couldn't resist capturing the sun as it was setting...

Anna and Alex came so prepared for the eSession, with a full wardrobe, ice chest filled with drinks and all. It was Alex's idea to have the photo shoot at the railroad track because it symbolized the new path/journey they are to take as husband and wife. Anna, princess cut rules!

Love of Animals: Tigger, the Kitty

Our tour of a good friend's newly bought house was interrupted by a soft "Meow!" It turned out that this tiny, little newborn kitten was left/lost (hopefully accidentally as opposed to intentionally!) in a gutter. Betty kindly took her home in a box and fed her milk, in an attempt to save his life. He was so cute I couldn't stop taking pictures. Thanks, Bet and Thourn, for taking such great care of him while he was still here. We will miss him =*(

Love of Animals: Our Apartment Complex Pets

There are ducks in our front yard almost daily. Our neighbors saw baby duckies following mother duck across the street last year, and we couldn't wait for the opportunity to possibly witness it ourselves. Lo and behold, my hubby opened the door today, ran back inside and whispered excitedly, "Baby duckies! There's baby ducks!" We both ran back outside (with the camera, of course!), and this was what we saw!!!

Sheila & Tho: Married!

Sheila and Tho's wedding took place at a beautiful and peaceful location in Temecula. I rode with Sheila's brother and his girlfriend and we totally got lost on the way to the ceremony site. BUT we still managed to make it there on schedule to photograph! Whew~ it was quite an adventure :) Sheila, you had such an emotion-filled day, but everything turned out really well in the end. Seeing you, Tho, and your guests all so happy made it easy for me to capture precious moments throughout the day. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it in that way!
